  • Best meat n three in town! FOOD> Meatloaf with collards and Mac n cheese with cornbread OUT OF THIS WORLD!!!!! The chicken and rice soup with cornbread and grilled cheese + drink special was the perfect lunch for a cold winters day The soup was thick and hearty and I crumbled the sweet cornbread into it. Its is always my favorite when I get the grilled chicken plate with their melt in your mouth collards and unforgettable macaroni and cheese! The grilled cheese sandwich was perfect for dipping and they teased me with 2 perfectly crispy fries which make me want to try a burger next time Other delicious food - the grilled chicken Greek salad is delicious SERVICE>The whole time I was there the drive thru was buzzing so you can opt for that but the find the dining room service second to none. They greet you warmly and make sure you are attended to and your tea glass is full. ATMOSPHERE> Classic casual local family owned establishment. Lots of memorabilia honoring the decades of this restaurant's history. This is where you will see familiar faces and fell like you're surrounded by friends and neighbors. VALUE> Excellent value for the money LOCATION> Just minutes from downtown Greenville on Laurens Road between Pleasantburg and Washington PARKING> Plenty of parking even handicapped spaces surrounding the restaurant

  • My meal was delicious. I had turnip greens, rice with gravy, sautéed squash, and cornbread. The iced tea was the disappointment. It was too weakly brewed, and they don’t have fresh lemons. Just bottles of lemon juice.

  • This is my first time eating here after reading some reviews because I really want chicken livers with vegetables. I’m literally sitting in the parking lot enjoying This meal. The turnip greens and mac & cheese are delicious and the corporate is the best I’ve ever had in my whole life. Got all this in a drink for like $12 can’t beat that. I will be back for the grilled chicken livers. I wanna try those too!

  • I want to show support for this restaurant. It's locally owned and the owner Nick is a great guy who tries to get to know his customers and always greets me with a smile. I usually get the same thing every week. Grilled chicken tenders, black eyed peas, collard greens, and Brussel sprouts. The quantity is good and the price is reasonable. As a health enthusiast I'm thrilled to have this option which is near my house and offers quick, healthy, and delicious meals.

  • I've eaten here half a dozen times and will be back. The food is really good and prices are great. It's a family owned and operated business, with good home cooking. Nick's burger and palmetto burger are great. Chicken fried steak, and catfish/flounder are good. However, the meatloaf and gyro are my favorites so far. The sides are all good, I gravitate to the ocra, squash, and green beans. I'm planning to try everything on the menu. Haven't been disappointed yet. Easily some of the best burgers in town, made anyway you want it.

  • I go here for lunch several days a week. The food is always good and hot. Everything is fried in beef tallow as well, making my decision to eat here so often easier. The staff is great and the guy who runs the place obviously cares about what he's doing. After typing this, I may head up there and get a seafood plate.

  • Palmetto serves great food with good, fast service. It’s the reason they been around a long time. It’s always quick whether you dine in or pick it up from the drive through. Can’t go wrong with anything on the menu.

  • BEEF TALLOW! No seed oils! That’s what their sign said outside. If you’re tired of being poisoned by toxic seed oils then you don’t have many options for a quick bite to eat. Food was good, service was good, atmosphere was friendly, you can tell there are a lot of regulars. Definitely will go back.
